This fire monitor utilizes a SUPERVISED CIRCUIT and comes with a UL Listed Fire Detector. An optional UL Listed Smoke Detector is available (part # 20271) . They can be used together or separately and they can be parallel connected with multiple detectors. Auxiliary Battery connection for backup...automatically converts to Auxiliary if Main Battery is not functional.
A SUPERVISED CIRCUIT is a circuit that sounds an alarm if a wire is broken, corroded, or tampered with, in addition to the normal alarm in the event of a fire. An intermittent audible warning is sounded if the circuit is malfunctioning and constant audible sounds if there is a fire emergency.......letting you know the warning state.
Now, during inspection a wire will be removed from the detector to test for a SUPERVISE CIRCUIT.
The panel has a loud Audible built in, Red Warning Light, Mute, and Test button.
Panel size is 3-15/16' wide and 4-7/8' high
