No More Nodding Off Aqualarm Last Watch II digital helmsman minder| $199 Skippering while tired is a hazard to your passengers, to other boaters and to yourself. If you’ve ever fallen asleep at the helm before, you know it’s more than just unpleasant. To keep weary cruisers on their toes, Aqualarm developed the Last Watch II digital helmsman minder. It works much like an alarm clock: Set the clock up to 99 minutes ahead of time, and if the reset button is not pushed before the time is up, a loud buzzer will sound. If the buzzer is not stopped after 30 seconds, a second alert is sent to a remote audible alarm. |
